Creating a city-centre looking out onto the Seine
A town of 16,000 residents on the outskirts of Paris, served by public transport via Poissy (SNCF trains and RER commuter trains), Carrières-sous-Poissy boasts great development potential. In order to accompany it harmoniously, the city and EPAMSA have decided to outline an ambitious urban project.
In Carrières-sous-Poissy, the ‘reunification’ of the town, which is split by the sites reserved for the A104 and RD 190 motorways and lacks functional links between the two existing parts of the town, is one of the major issues that this planning project has had to address.
