Le Central: innovative urban programme

Project info

Paris-Saclay

Le Central, located close to a station on line 18 of the Grand Paris Express, will accommodate 70,000 sq m of housing, economic activities, businesses, services and facilities in the heart of the Ecole Polytechnique district development zone (ZAC).

This is an ambitious test operation, for which the architectural consultation includes not only construction, but also programme management, in an approach focusing on innovation.

The Paris-Saclay Public Planning authority (EPA) has launched a call for innovative urban plans, aimed at multi-discipline teams (developers, urban service operators, design consultants, programmers, users etc.) who will propose concrete solutions on four topics: usage and new services, energy, transport, and the circular economy.

Let’s meet at MIPIM 2018
