Vita Vitae: new campus at Genopole, Evry
public research laboratories
shared platforms and infrastructure solutions
Genopole, located in the towns of Evry and Corbeil-Essonnes, within Grand Paris Sud, is the country’s first biocluster. Its mission: to contribute to the development of innovations that will improve our health, living conditions and environment.
Genopole is working on a ‘2025 growth strategy’ that is primarily based on the development of personalised medicine.
The ‘Vita Vitae’ project, which forms part of this initiative, was selected following the request for proposals, ‘Inventing Greater Paris Metropole’. Managed by Linkcity Ile-de-France, this project comprises a 15,000 sq m campus made up of offices and laboratories designed to meet the real-estate needs of biotechnology firms and startups; the first phase (5,000 sq m) is scheduled to be handed over in 2020.
